LAUREN: Tonight, there has been an unfortunate turn of events for Lloyds Bank (by your side) down in London. Where it was unfortunately robbed 2 hours ago by 2 males dressed as Barbie and Ken. The police have arrested a suspect however we don't have any information current-

POPPY: HIIIII excusez-moi do you know where the closest Costa is? I could really go for a latte right now.

LAUREN: Wow, not like I was doing anything over here!

POPPY: Well i'm sorry but i NEED my latte! I'm going through a crisis.

LAUREN: I don't care about your probably stupid crisis.

POPPY: Well Asda closed down, I need a few days to mentally recover.

LAUREN: As I said... stupid

 POPPY: DON'T YOU DARE CRITICISE OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR ASDA

LAUREN: SECURITY! SECURITY!

POPPY: Oh my... am i on the news... HEY SUSAN.... I MADE IT ON TV

LAUREN: You know what.. I cant anymore... I quit!

POPPY: So... I hear your hiring?

LAUREN: DON'T EVEN TRY IT!

POPPY: Nah that is rubbish... Tonight, a news reporter quits over girl asking for the location of Costa.

LAUREN: YOU WEREN'T EVEN HIRED

POPPY: SAYS WHO?

LAUREN: THE MANAGER!

POPPY: TONIGHT.. Oh were out of time. Goodnight!

LAUREN: GET OUT NOW!!

POPPY: So are we going costa?

Do Now:

In our piece, Lauren is a news reporter trying to give the daily news. I play an idiot who is interrupting the news broadcast trying to see where the local costa is.

George didn't want to be on camera as he has stage fright, so he is going to attempt to film.


Tuesday 7th February 2023

I think there is going to be major progression in special effects in the future. For example, there would be VR headsets that would transport you to wherever your studying, like in Geography to the country your studying and in History travelling back in time to see that. I also think it might be possible to make an entire live show without any actors actually being present. I don't think it would be possible to replicate voices so there would have to be either a voice recording or a voice over. there could be robots or a video of characters moving in the background. The lighting and sound effects could be used to help the images come to life.

The dimming of my skin to help the cut out bits of face from the zomie blend onto my skin went well. EBI: I had more time to work on it to make it blend even better. I could have added more cuts and other features like bruises WWW: The blending made it look like it was actually on my face EBI: I had managed to get something to go onto my forhead as it looks really plain.

Tuesday 10th January 2022 Task: Choose a film from one genre and explain, in detail, how you would change it to a different genre. For this task, I chose Harry Potter and the goblet of fire from the fantasy genre to turn into a comedy. Locations: The first location I would change in this film is the black lake. There are horrifying creatures in there, and the water is incredibly dark, hence it being called the black lake. One of the conventions of comedy is happiness and light, so you could change the colour of the water in the black lake to a clear blue (which would include more comedy because the water is a bright blue but it's still called the black lake), and still have some creatures but things such as innocent looking water snakes, or a funny-looking three eyed fish. The second location i would change is the library as in the film it's again incredibly dark.
