Brand name: Sweet treats
Type of brand: Baking
What we do: delicious recipes to make
Aim of site: To provide easy recipes for teenagers to make and enjoy.
Site content: recipes and baking tips
Target audience: 15-18 year olds
Unique selling point: The website not only provides recipes but also baking tip. Also, it is going to consist only of easy recipes considering the age group it is targeted at have a lot of revision and studying to do. They can make the treat and study with one or put them in the oven and while waiting for them to be done revise.
Do Now:
1. What colour scheme is used and how does it link to the genre/product/company?
The colour schemes are neutral colours like beige and white, sometimes with a bit of pink. This links to baking because it is seen as a calming task and they are calming and beautiful colours, like the end result of a recipe.
2. What information is included on the homepage?
There are drop down menus, recipes and search boxes for if you want to make something specific.
3. What links are there?
Because they are baking websites, there are many different links to different recipes and at the bottom, some links to social media.
4. What images and videos are used?
There are lots of images of baked goods.
5. How is the brand represented?
The name is at the top as well as a showcase of some of their best work. It is represented through the recipes and treats they share. They look very warm and welcoming because of the colour palette, but also professional because of the pictures of the amazingly decorated cakes and cookies.
