 Tuesday 23rd May 2023 LO: To create effective logos and a clear brand identity. colour- I used these colours to make up the cookie because i wanted it to have a natural link and these are the colours of a cookie. shape- I used a circle because they are the shape associated with a warm and welcoming place and also they are the shape of most cookies. font style- I used this font because i think it goes well with the logo and also it gives off the welcoming and homey vibe i was going for. Design- I use the colours tan and brown. The font was a baking font from DaFont.  Colour- I used purple and the colours of the baked goods because the connotations of purple are peace and creativity. Thursday 11th May 2023  LO: To explore the concept of branding and to create an effective brand image. Brand name: Sweet as Sugar What it does/purpose: provides recipes for teens USP: Provides baking tips as well as recipes. It is specifically targeted to teens so all the recipes will be ones that are easy for beginners. Target audience: teenagers 1. What similarities are there? most of them have calligraphy for their writing, all of them include their name and some sort of animated cake or baking equipment, all of them are in a circle. They all look quite elegant and homey. 2. How are their USPs shown? For the one in the top left, it looks as if it is targeted towards people in their 20s but some of the others are targeted towards older people. Two of them are vegan baking companies. 3. Brand name: Sweet treats Type of brand: Baking What we do: delicious recipes to make Aim of site: To provide easy recipes for teenagers to make and enjoy. Site content: recipes and baking tips Target audience: 15-18 year olds Unique selling point: The website not only provides recipes but also baking tip. Also, it is going to consist only of easy recipes considering the age group it is targeted at have a lot of revision and studying to do.
